Undergraduate Studies

A major in any one of the Romance Languages offered at Hunter College (French, Italian or Spanish) is designed as an in-depth study of the spoken language, its written form, and the literature and civilizations of the people who speak it. This major prepares students for a variety of career opportunities. Many pursue teaching and bilingual education while others pursue interpreting/translating, international affairs, business, communications and the sciences.
